1-ON-1 COACHING

1on1 coaching is standard amongst many individual disciplines such as tennis, athletics and golf to name a few but there is a growing trend within football for 1on1 coaching within football training, even though it is a team game, 1on1 training and individual football practice can really take your game to the next level.

The sessions are for children aged 5-16 years old, some children may only receive one or two hours contact time a week at their club or academy, which would involve a squad of up to 10-15 plus individuals. 1on1 coaching will focus on the individual needs of the player, help build confidence and learn new techniques which will improve their all round game. Sessions can be conduced into small groups as explained below in program 2.

Our 1-on-1 Coaching sessions include:

 

Programme 1:

  • Consultation, fitness and diet advice (Healthy Eating)

  • Dynamic warm up (with and without the ball)

  • Technical sessions (looking at making players more comfortable on the ball)

  • Skill stations (Passing, Control, Dribbling and Finishing)

  • Ball manipulation

  • SAQ (Speed, Agility and Quickness)

  • Player Positioning

  • Cool Down

  • Written feedback and action plans

  • Video Analysis of sessions

 

NEW !!! Small group coaching (Programme 2) for 2 – 6 players

Program 2:

Galactico Soccer also offers small group coaching where we work with 2 – 6 players in a small group and allows for a lot more 1 v 1 , 2 v 2 building up to 3 v 3 coaching.
